About me
I teach art and STEAM at an all girls middle school in the San Francisco bay area. I have two teenage children, a husband and a cat. When I'm not teaching I have a small business making custom picture frames which I sell on Etsy and at craft fairs. I was raised in the Unitarian Universalist church and consider myself very spiritual but not necessarily religious. I have a great interest in learning more about indigenous wisdom from the Americas as well as the pre-Christian practices of my western European ancestors. I am very close to my family and love to spend time together laughing until it hurts. I crave meaning, connection, peace, self-acceptance. I can spend hours watching the frenetic drama at the bird feeder on my porch, love to read, make art and play complex (but not too complex) board games. I am both really looking forward to and very nervous about this conference.
