About me
Dawn is a passionate changemaker with Wildsight Education, building environmental education programming to support teachers and lead students in hands-on, place-based environmental learning. Over the past 20-years she has led the development and management of the Beyond Recycling (www.beyondrecycling.ca), a year-long program that brings environmental educators into the classroom weekly to schools across the Columbia Basin. She also lead the development of the online FutureMakers Program, providing practical, hope-filled climate-resilience and sustainable-community design resources to support teachers in integrating engaging, real-world environmental learning into their classroom. Dawn is deeply connected to vibrant community initiatives that blend sustainability, learning, and local action, inspiring teachers and students to create meaningful, lasting change in their classrooms and communities.
