About me
Dr. Amanda Dworak Rowland brings more than 25 years of experience in education, partnership development, interpretation, and youth and volunteer program management. She began her career with the U.S. Forest Service in Milwaukee while completing her B.S. in Environmental Science and Conservation Management, and served on the Wisconsin Environmental Education Board. A long-time contributor to state and regional conferences, Amanda expanded her work internationally after participating in the Educator Academy in the Amazon in 2013. She now serves on the board and as volunteer faculty for The Morpho Institute. Amanda holds an M.S. in Resource Interpretation from Stephen F. Austin State University and a Doctor of Education from the University of Missouri–St. Louis, where her research focused on the Social Change Model of Leadership Development and youth leadership programs that connect young people to public lands.
