Welcome to the 2026 Outdoor Learning Conference
Thursday May 7, 2026 9:00am - 11:30am MDT
Join a certified Forest Therapy Guide and Educator to experience how Forest Bathing reminds us that wellness does not always require doing more. Sometimes, it begins with allowing ourselves to slow down, step outside, and listen to the quiet wisdom found among trees.
Forest Bathing, also referred to as “forest therapy”, is a practice grounded in research that points to numerous physical and mental health benefits. It involves immersing oneself in a natural environment to promote relaxation, reduce stress, help support emotional wellness and enhance overall well-being. You will be guided through a sequence of invitations designed to help your body and mind slow down, tune into your senses, and experience the environment in a way that supports you to deepen your connection with the natural world as well as yourself. Research continues to reveal scientific evidence for what many of us already feel inside. That is, spending time in nature is good for us.
Please take note of the weather forecast and come prepared with appropriate clothing and footwear to be outside for 2.5 hours. With our classic spring weather, dressing in layers will be important. We will be walking slowly and taking time in certain spots. Foam sit-upons will be provided.
