About me
David Burtt has been working in non-formal and formal education for more than 25 years. He has worked as an educator in three provinces, and abroad in England, New Zealand, and Australia. David is passionate about the joys of engaging with literature and the joys of engaging with nature—and the ways in which these passions intersect. He is a former secondary school English teacher who is now the Formal Education Manager for the Canadian Wildlife Federation. He has a Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing from the University of Victoria and a Master of Arts degree in English Literature from Carleton University.
