About me
With more than two decades of dedicated experience in the practice of yoga, Christine Lynes of CreativeSOULyoga has taught diverse communities across Toronto, Vancouver and surrounding areas, Montreal and Chicago. She owned and operated her own yoga studio in Mississauga Ontario eight years leading up to the pandemic, cultivating an inclusive space that welcomed students of all ages-children, babies and mamas, youth and adults and the elderly. Christine brings extensive training to her work holding two hundred hours of certification in yoga and mindfulness. In addition, she competed specialized trauma-informed training, deepening her ability to support individuals with varied needs and lived experiences. Her approach is grounded in empathy, adaptability, and the belief that yoga can be a meaningful tool for well-being at every stage of life. As an Arts Specialist with Peel District School board, Christine integrates her creative background into her yoga teaching practice. This creative lens is particularly evident in her guided practices, where she combines artistry and mindfulness and accessible techniques to support large and diverse group of students. Currently teaching within the school board, she continues to apply her yoga expertise in educational settings and with other related organizations like the council of outdoor educators in Ontario where she regularly teaches at their annual fall conference.
