About me
Andrea is passionate about teaching and learning outdoors. She has been the Education Specialist with Alberta Forestry and Parks for over 20 years where she has been developing, delivering and evaluating outdoor learning experiences for students and professional development workshops for teachers. She is inspired and influenced by progressive teaching pedagogy, infusing learning on and from the land with the natural learning cycle in her programs and workshops. Andrea is also a classroom teacher and currently works part-time in an outdoor school in Canmore as their Nature Immersion Specialty Teacher.
