About me
Sarah is an Instructional Coach at Georgetown Day School with over 25 years of experience across public and independent schools. Her work lives at the intersection of arts integration, experiential learning, and student-driven curriculum that honors curiosity, creativity, and identity.Born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, with frequent visits to the Rockies, Sarah was shaped by the natural world from an early age. She believes that being in nature teaches us how to slow down, pay attention, and connect principles that are central to her work with students and teachers alike. Whether it's students learning barefoot outside or adults engaging in artifact-based storytelling, Sarah designs learning that is embodied, relational, and rooted in place.A passionate advocate for educator growth, she creates professional learning that mirrors the type of classrooms we hope to build: joyful, reflective, immersive, and deeply human.
