About me
Junko SOJUN Kitahama Junko was 9 years old when she first visited a tea ceremony teacherwith her mother. She immediately loved delicate Japanese sweets and special green tea, and shequickly became a dedicated student. Living in the old capital, Kyoto was perfect to advance to the highest level of mastery and she was granted a respected name, Sojun, and permission to teach Cha-no-Yu. After immigrating to Canada, she passionately shares her skills in various occasions. She is a certified instructor and master of the Omote-Senke California chapter. She lives in Canmore with her husband, Noboru.
