On the Land in Treaty 7, Sheri is learning, listening, hiking, camping, snowboarding, growing, grieving and grateful. For the past two decades, environmental education and conservation communications positions with CPAWS Southern Alberta and Parks Canada have amplified her belief that all humans are better humans when they wander, wonder and play outdoors. Possessing an honours degree in Canadian Studies from the University of Guelph, Sheri is an accredited Professional Interpreter, Hiking Guide and Environmental Education Specialist renowned for her irrepressible, wide-eyed love of nature as a locus of beauty, benevolence and belonging.
