About me
Ruth Stutely is an educator specializing in environmental education. She holds a Bachelors of Elementary Education from Mount Royal University (2019) and is currently completing her Master's in Education for Change: Environmental and Sustainability Education from Lakehead University. She has taught in a variety of youth settings including leading a mindfulness-based program at the YW where she developed and implemented a successful youth garden project. Her current involves delivering engaging, curriculum-connected programs that support youth across Canada in understanding environmental issues, Indigenous perspectives, and fostering a love for nature and wildlife. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys camping with her cat, travelling, and spending time on the water with friends and family. She is passionate about inspiring environmental stewardship and grounding educational practice in a strong connection to nature.
