About me
As Wildsight’s Director of Water and Climate, Graeme Lee Rowlands helps deliver the Columbia River Field School, Teach the Columbia, and Youth Climate Corps programs. He has provided deep ongoing educational mentorship to 150+ youth. He has been actively engaged in hydropower policy, international Columbia River Treaty negotiations and Indigenous-led salmon reintroduction efforts and brings this expertise to his teaching. In 2017, he followed the entire length of the Columbia River by bicycle and kayak over 35 days. Born in Honduras, his first word was “agua”.
