About me
Court Rustemeyer is an award-winning Outdoor Education teacher and founder of the Outdoor Leadership Program at Vincent Massey School in Calgary. A passionate advocate for experiential learning, he serves as President of the Global, Environmental & Outdoor Education Council (GEOEC) and Prairies Director for the Outdoor Council of Canada, and sits on the Teacher Advisory Committee for Take Me Outside.
A National Geographic Grosvenor Teacher Fellow (Antarctica 2025), Court is also the author of Mentorship in the Wild, exploring how mentorship and nature intertwine to inspire leadership, growth, and authentic connection.
Court has presented nationally and internationally at conferences, sharing his philosophy of grounded, nature-based leadership. Through his teaching, writing, and workshops, he empowers educators to connect students with the outdoors through curiosity, care, and authentic experience.
