Dr. Molina “Mo” Walters is a Clinical Professor at Arizona State University and founder of the Environmental Education Certificate Program housed in the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College. With over 25 years of experience in teacher education, STEM integration, and environmental literacy, Dr. Mo’s work emphasizes experiential and outdoor learning that connects people to place and promotes sustainability. She has presented nationally and internationally at NAAEE, AAEE, and WEEC conferences, and is widely recognized for advancing hands-on, inquiry-based approaches to environmental education. Her leadership focuses on building capacity for educators to foster curiosity, mindfulness, and ecological stewardship through nature-based learning experiences.
