About me
Brianna Nasrallah is a graduate student at Carleton University, conducting her research project with the Healthy Active Living and Obesity (HALO) Research Group at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO), in collaboration with Outdoor Play Canada. After receiving her honours bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, she began working in clinical research and epidemiology to explore how lifestyle factors shape health outcomes. As part of her graduate research project, Brianna contributed to the development of the 2025 Position Statement on Active Outdoor Play, advocating for more accessible outdoor play opportunities across sectors. She continues to support data collection and analysis for the Sending Preschoolers OUTside (SPROUT) study, investigating nature-based learning programs.
