Dànetʼe! Sı̨ Jordyn sìyeh (Hi there, my name is Jordyn)
Sǫ̀mba K'è nàhde (I live in Yellowknife, NWT). Kǫtà dǫ ts'adı dǫǫ (I work to support families/community).
I am a Ukrainian/French settler who grew up in Sǫ̀mba K'è after moving here as a child. Now, I am a young professional with a background in early childhood education and youth program facilitation. I am passionate about children's engagement and belonging in their communities. My work currently has a strong focus on languages and I am slowly learning Tłı̨chǫ, Tagalog, French, ASL, and the Indigenous languages of the communities I visit.
I am a contemporary dancer and a potter. I love learning new skills and hobbies that allow me to make art, move my body, play outside, or some combination of all three!
