Welcome to the 2026 Outdoor Learning Conference
Thursday May 7, 2026 3:15pm - 4:30pm MDT
This immersive workshop invites educators, youth workers, and facilitators to explore how early family narratives, inherited silences, and childhood emotional patterns quietly shape how we teach, respond, and hold space. Through gentle somatic grounding, reflective writing, and connection-based activities, participants uncover how unresolved stories influence empathy, boundaries, and classroom presence. Guided by Academy Award–winning composer, cultural futurist, and educator TIKA, this session supports participants in reconnecting with their inner child, expanding nervous system awareness, and learning practical practices to cultivate steadier, more compassionate learning environments.
